We collect contact and identity details, information about your legal matter, payment information, and technical information when you visit our website. Information about a matter may include special category or criminal offence data, particularly in discrimination claims.
We collect information from you, from people acting for you, from others involved in your matter (such as the other side, Acas or the tribunal) and from public sources.

How we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, check whether we can act, verify your identity, provide legal services, bill for our work, meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and run our website. If you don't give us information we need, we may not be able to act for you.
Our legal bases are performing our contract with you or taking steps before entering into one, complying with our legal obligations, our legitimate interests in running our practice and protecting our legal position, and your consent where we ask for it. We process special category and criminal offence data where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or with your explicit consent.
We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
We share personal data only where necessary, for example with barristers, experts, the other side, Acas, courts and tribunals, our insurers, professional advisers and regulator, and our IT, accounting, communication and identity-checking providers, including Squarespace, which hosts our website. We don't sell your data.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or other approved safeguards.
We normally keep client files and enquiry records for up to seven years after our last contact, to deal with any queries, complaints or claims.
Sharing and retention
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, object to how we use it, or receive it in a portable format, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Some rights are limited, for example where information is legally privileged.
